An impulse, influence or a decisive stage describes a “moment.” Songs For a New World is about those “moments in time” that explores life, love and the choices we make. Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown’s music transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge, 57 stories above Fifth Avenue. AHS cast of 11 incredibly gifted students’ powerful production is a self-discovery “....about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back.” As one character poignantly states, “You don’t know me, but you will.” Don’t miss out on this adventure!
